وكان المحامي عادل محفوظ، وهو من مواليد قرية صابر كوم حمادة بمحافظة البحيرة وعمره بالأربعينات، أسس موقعاً له على الانترنت باسم حمدي نصر الدين مرفق بأغانيها واكتظ بمشاعره التي عبّر فيها عن حبه وولعه بباسكال، إلى درجة أخبرها في إحدى المرات بأنه سينتحر غداً إن لم تتزوجه. كما هدد بقتل مدير أعمالها ملحم أبوشديد خلال مقابلة تلفزيونية أعدتها معه قناة “إل.بي.سي” اللبنانية، وفيها هاجم زعماء لبنانيين لهم وزنهم واتهمهم بما لم يتهمهم به أحد، كتورط بعضهم في مضايقته والوقوف حجر عثرة في طريق زواجه من المطربة الموصوفة بالدلوعة، حتى إنه هدد رئيس مجلس النواب اللبناني، نبيه بري، وقال إنه سيجره إلى العدالة.
